Her cousin, who seemed to know something disappeared, and Peter - a young intern - was found seriously hurt.
A new inspection awaits Detective Brevet. And this time around, the case seems particularly shady.

One Italian sunset, one sunrise, and a quick death. However it does not go the way it is supposed to. She survives and to protect the family, her attempted murderer, a very openly psychopath man, marries her to prevent her from being able to talk to the police. The book, when completed will follow how she adapts to this marriage and how they come to an agreement as she works through her trauma from her own childhood being raised by a psychopathic father while being married to an unrepentant killer.
