"Do I really have to?" I asked looking at the old, deserted house infront of me. "It's a dare. Now stop being a pussy and woman up, Jane!" Alex retorted. "Ugh, fine. If I'm not out in 10 minutes hide my food and don't let my sister touch it. Or I will haunt you!" I yelled making goast noises. I walked up to the house cautiously and pushed the door open. It was really dark inside so I looked around for some lights. When I found them I turned them on. They flikered a bit and then died out completely. I sighed and pulled out my phone for a source of light. "Let's get this over with." I mumbled walking around, phone held out infront of me. After walking for a minute or two I found a staircase leading to a basement. I walked down the steep steps and saw a body hanging lifeless from the ceiling. I looked around a bit more. I examined some glass containers. "What the hell!" I muttered seeing a jar labeled "human flesh". I turned around and dropped the jar when I saw the same body that was hanging standing infront of me. An eerie silence echoed through the house at the end of Yellow Brooke Street, the wind outside slammed toward the wooden walls making a whistle inside the house from the cracked windows; the front door made a thud each time it slammed toward the wall and the screams from the dead gave the house an uneasiness to it. I stood before the house, while my friends were excited to do the exact opposite of what our parents told us to; I was not. I trusted my mother when she told us to never get close to this place. "You guys ready?" Diana said with joy in her voice, I stuttered. "No.." the fear in my voice was obvious, though no one seemed to care. Dan glanced at me and chuckled. "Really? It's just a house." "It's a haunted house." I said nervously. "Maybe we should trust our parents on this, they told us that it isn't safe for a reason." "You wimp." Diana joked, she wasn't serious; it was just to get me with them and of course she knew that it would work. "It's fine if you don't want to Luna." Lucas said, at least he was cool about it. "I-I'm not a wimp!" I stumbled on my words. "Yey!" Diana said happily and rushed toward me with her arms open. "I'll buy you McDonalds after this." I hugged her, even though I wasn't happy. I looked at the time. 12.20am
