They are all dead, because once again, I have failed to save them. Once again, I disappointed everyone around me. Once again, I am the only one, who is left behind, alone. I thought, no, I believed that I have improved. I believed that I have changed, caught up to my peers, became strong enough to stand side-by-side with them. Yet, evidence is here, all around me. They are all dead, leaving me only one alive. I bite my bottom lip, fighting tears that are pooling in my eyes. Forged Beyond
Naruto, orphaned in the wake of the Kyuubi's wrath, was marked by the village as a monster. No mentor extended a hand; no peer stood by his side. As others played, he lingered in the shadows, craving the warmth of recognition. His pranks, his laughter, all mere echoes of a desperate heart reaching for fleeting glances. Sasuke lived under the same roof as his family, yet his existence was a shadow of another's brilliance. Itachi-the golden son, the perfect shinobi. Sasuke was forever in his wake. "It's Itachi's brother," they whispered, "Why can't you be like him?" The words burrowed deep, seeping into his soul. Sakura, born to a civilian family, rejected the path laid before her. When she defied the role of a dutiful bride and aspiring kunoichi, her parents' love twisted into cruelty. The bruises were not just on her skin but in her spirit. Bullied for her looks, she wondered if anyone would ever see her true beauty. Bound by shared pain and unspoken dreams, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura turned their backs on the village. They swore to return, but only when they had become the warriors they were meant to be, and to gain the respect they always deservedConcluida![AND BACK AGAIN [ NARUTO ]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/219505609-256-k297231.jpg)
AND BACK AGAIN [ NARUTO ]
Naruto really thought they could do it. That he could do it. But when the chance was staring him in the eyes, reflecting off of the rasengan in his right hand and the pulsing in his chest, Naruto failed. Madara sent him back. Back to a time when he had everything once again. And he couldn't stay. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Jiraiya shrugged, as if he wasn't discussing his own demise and just some mildly unpleasant weather. "I've got books to write, places to visit, little brats to train. The world needs me as long as it can have me." He spread his hands reasonably, as if to illustrate the surety of his point. "Spill it, come on. How'd I get myself killed?" Naruto sputtered, sitting a little straighter. "That's--I can't just tell you!" He stopped. ". . .Can I?" "I don't see why not." Jiraiya smiled softly, the nonchalance gone from his expression and replaced with a hint of understanding that Naruto drank up. "You're thinking a bit too hard into this, gaki. We don't have to follow Fate's path like a strict rule book. We're shinobi--things like this," he gestured to Naruto, "are bound to happen. And if you happen to have important knowledge and if you happen to mention it here and there, well. No one will be the wiser. You want to save us, Naruto? Save us." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ [ earlier chapters are lacking ] [ cover art creds to artist ] [ genfic--no ships, but if any, canon implied ] #1 in narutotimetravel 1 / 28 / 21 #1 in uzumakinaruto 8/9/21 #3 in uchihasasuke 12/22/20 #7 in naruto 12/27/20 #4 in timetravel 4/24/21Concluida
