AU where Keith is the son of Zarkon (so he is fully Galra), and Lotor is his brother, and they get along exceptionally well. However, Keith has a few secrets, one being that he is gay (which his father and brother would disown him if they knew) and that he isn't all for his father's reign over the universe.
Now we take a look at Lance, an Altean prince, living with his sister, Allura, under their father, King Alfor. Lance is seemingly very open about himself, but he still hides a lot. He hides his bisexuality to everyone but his sister, and he hides his fear of not being good enough.
I'm afraid there isn't much an outsider could do but watch their fates braid themselves into knots of perfection.

The war is over, and omegas have never been more valuable. The Galra empire severely dwindled Earth's population, and now omegas were required to have at least one pup with their mate. If they didn't by the age of 25, the Omega Breeding Program would bring the omega to one of their facilities and give them a waiting alpha to mate with. Lance was worried for Keith, as he was an unmated omega. But being the leader of Volton and the Blade of Marmora had its advantages. Although, Earth wasn't the only planet to suffer. And some acted more drastically. On a mission, Keith goes missing. Everyone is freaking out. There were rumors of a group kidnapping omegas of all species for breeding and overall amusement. Could Keith have been taken by this group? Lance goes on his own mission with some help to find his missing friend. Our Strange Differences
Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron.
