Elizabeth has everything; the music career, fame, loyal fans, friends, sanity.
Then he appears, a figment of her imagination, no one can see him but he insists that he is real. Like any normal person plummeted into this situation, Elizabeth thinks she's going crazy, she swiftly checks herself into a mental rehabilitation so she can get her life back.
Yet still, her life begins to crumble around her, everything tearing at the seams and Lizzie still adamantly clutches desperately at the things that matter to her the most. Like that isn't enough for him he still continues to haunt her, everywhere she goes, whoever she is with, he is there lurking in some dark corner.
Elizabeth can not bring herself to believe him, leaving her reeling in confusion and frustrated not only at him but most of all, at herself.
The only way to get rid of this apparition, is if Elizabeth does what he wants but he only wants one thing from her.
Will she do it? Can she do it?
But Scarlett Evans, her best friend is not as oblivious as everyone else who shuns Elizabeth, thinking she has the severe case of the crazies. She's not blind. She can see.

What happens when one of the last freakshows comes to your town? Not only is it a grotesque event viewed for pleasure at a circus but one that harbors secrets and hidden evils behind the curtains. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. She never expected to be ripped from her life and forced into their society of freaks, struggling to keep their business. She wasn't and would never be a freak, especially ones that didn't know right morals from wrong ones. ___________________________________ THIS STORY CONTAINS GRAPHIC MATERIAL AND POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING CONTENT: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK (18+) I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS 14. He can be mean and at any time portrays an undoubted stone cold attitude. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is spontaneous and witty. She holds so much to her non-staggered principles in life. According to James, she is the ultimate stubborn woman he has ever encountered in his entire life but according to Elizabeth he is the ultimate swagger-- that is if she hadn't known him too well. But the thing is, does she really know him well enough? Sharing a hidden relationship, it feels like she's embracing a stranger so dangerously but then there is this one particular point when everytime she is surrounded by his arms like an invincible shield, she could sense a constant reminder that he has a connection somewhere within her a long time ago...הושלם
