A Treefox and a Watersnake

As far as Mist knows, there are three sentient races in the great forest: treefoxes, birdfolk and burrowers. Yet in the river lives yet another kind of creature, a watersnake, called Thalas. A chance meeting leads to an unlikely bond between two who should have never met. And not everybody in Mist's pack is willing to accept it.
