What are Dreams? What are Nightmares? And what's the difference from Realities?
Angel Prairr is an exceptionally ordinary girl in her small hometown of Washougal, WA. A place where nothing changes and everything is everyone's business. Her life is same as can be until she meets a boy who is destined to do something extraordinary. And so, their journey begins:
My eyes narrow as I try to see them clearly. Uh oh. They look like they’re fighting.
“Mom, look! Someone’s getting hurt!” I urge her. I turn back to point at the field and I see only one person in the field stumbling. Where’d the other person go? They had just disappeared.
“Angel, I don’t see anything. Now, as I was saying...” she continues.
The car begins to round a corner as I turn my attention back to the meteor when I realize too late.
Like a target, the meteor hits the remaining person spot on.

The paths that they take will carefully carve out the fate of their metropolis they call home. Some may choose to be the very face of good and justice, while others may instead take a darker turn. And the rest? Well, they're perhaps just a bit disgruntled and tired. With a new hero team in the making, they all must overcome their own trials in order to work together successfully. Hopefully, they can do it in time to stop the new wave of villains as crime in New Elysium truly never ceases. But will they be able to properly balance their real lives with their secret identities? Dreams.... Dreams are like a slip of the subconscious. A peek at what's hidden, what's supposed to be forgotten and never again remembered. But what if these dreams become more real than they're supposed to? What if they begin to distort reality? For 17 year old Aainaa Stephens, these dreams are a normal occurrence.
