The Elder Tree

Lillian Bloom is an adopted child of the dying race of the Elves; protectors and caretakers of the Elder Tree. The Elder Tree is the source of all life in the forest, and has flourished for over centuries with the help of the Elves. For the last decade, the few caretakers of the Elder tree have noticed a slight but ever growing disturbance, a weakening in the power of the Elder tree. But when the first leaf of the dying tree falls, the Elves know that if they don't act soon, it is a matter of weeks before every creature in the forest perishes. In desperation, the Elves find an old prophecy foretelling that a young woman by the surname of Bloom will have to traverse through the dark roots of the Elder Tree and destroy the decay at the source. Lillian, full blooded human and dirty village girl never imagined that she would become a warrior and embark with the surprisingly sweet protector Rutendo on a journey to save the lives of the very people who shunned her. Can she, along with Rutendo and some newfound friends overcome the dangers inside of the Elder Tree and save the forest before it's too late?
