An unlikely friendship is born between Henley Reeves, a young female escape artist, Daniel Atlas, card trick enthusiast, Merritt McKinney, the mentalist, Jack Wilder, cardistry and sleight of hand perfectionist, and Tess Reynolds, another card magic expert.

As Tess begins to catch feelings for Jack, Daniel tries his best to shut them down. Only making them grow even bigger. Her heart goes wild at the thought of the man but will her anxiety and secrets wedge a bridge between the two?

As much as the others think they know Tess Reynolds. They hardly know anything personal about her. She's keeping a huge secret that could easily send her into one of her biggest anxiety attacks, even just at the thought of it. Tess, however, is determined to keep it under wraps and let nobody find out.
