I Insist: How Two Words Changed Two Lives

A small female girl walks the streets of a major city, starving. She was very poor and could barely afford any food to keep herself saturated. She walked the streets, barely able to. She was weak and hungry. She then bumped into a male. She looked up at him and before she could even say one word he cut her off.

Now this male wasn't any ordinary male. He was Nexus Exilline, the famous model who was always in magazines and fangirls always swarming him. When his eyes landed on the girl he scoffed and then said, "Watch where you're going, alley cat. Bump into the wrong person and your idiocy may get you killed." He spat, making the girl's ears lower. "I-I'm so sorry, s-sir... I-I d-didn't mean--" she was then cut off, "Yeah, Yeah... Whatever..." he mumbled, sighing.

The girl then turned on her heel and then ran off, not even giving him a chance to apologize for his actions. The girl sighed and sat on a bench, looking at the ground. He skin was tight around her bones, exposing them to anyone that pays close attention to her. She was also very pale from someone living on the streets.

Nexus sighed and went in the direction she did, wanting to apologize. He saw her and just stood there for a moment. She was very pretty, her blue eyes glazed with tears. Nexus immediately felt bad and went up to her, "Hey... I'm sorry..." he said softly, looking at her, her long blonde hair on her shoulders, "It's fine.. no one really likes me anyway..." she said, making Nexus feel more guilt wash over him, "I'm Nexus Exilline..."

"Kitty Kat..." she said, looking at him with a small smile. "You don't know who I am...?" He asked as Kitty shook her head, "Nope... or I don't think so..." and at this response he smiled. He wasn't going to tell her. Maybe it would be nice for someone to like him for him... not for being famous.

"Why don't I treat you to dinner?" He smiles as Kitty shakes her head, "I can't..."

"I Insist."
