I didn't know how to fix things. I didn't want to fix things with Denis. I just wanted him out of my life. But I knew that humans required fixing. Always required closure and confrontation. It annoyed me - that I knew I had to do 'the right thing'. But I didn't know how to. He didn't show up at my work. Nor follow me home. He didn't wait outside my house night after night.
