I shook my head. If the corporation saw I would be reconditioned until I died. 

Rune approached me and slowly lifted my veil. I closed my eyes and felt Rune's mouth meet mine in a way I didn't think a pair of lips were capable of. The world around me swirled in colors and feelings I didn't even know existed.
