(mis)perceptions | SS x OC

Dumbledore's mouth opened to say something but he was interrupted by the sound of the door flinging open and then slamming shut. Before Florence could turn around the visitor had regained his composure and started to walk, his black robes billowing with each step. The shoulder length-dark haired man abruptly stopped upon noticing the woman's company. And faster than you could say "Merlin's beard" a glare claimed his features. Before she was even aware of it Florence squinted back, raising an eyebrow.

"I take it you two have met then.....," not one word was said so Dumbledore continued, "Florence this is Professor Snape, Severus this is your new student, Florence Helens."

The Professor tightened his crossed arms and continued walking, arrogantly, Florence assessed.
Snape was given the cue to sit down and he obeyed reluctantly but pushed his chair back a few inches as if he was a 3 year old.

(Story takes place years before Harry attends Hogwarts.)
