When you're far away from your shadow, you can see the light, the outside world in the blur. But when you get closer... until the only thing  visible is your shadow, the light from behind you does nothing; what we see we believe. So if all we see is our shadow then that's all we are.-KeSpiration 


Charlie has a plan.  Others call it a dream.  

She's an artist and aspires to be the best. Her three best friends are the reason she's still in this town. Well figuratively. Literally, No one can really afford to leave.  

But soon enough problems start to unwind about her home, about her friends, about the shadows.  And it leaves her hands shaking, gripping around a paint brush.  

It leaves this town in ruins.  
It leaves her life blank. 
Until all she can paint, is a black canvas.

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed.
