Why the World Needs Damirae (Damian x Raven)

I decided to write this explaining why this ship between the characters of Damian Wayne/Robin and Rachel Roth/Raven needs to happen. This is the only time I've ever truly cared that a ship has to take place to write something about it. I mean we all have our characters that we want to see paired up. But, with this particular ship we have a slim chance that it might not fully take place. (Even though I think it will based on all that's been set up, because if they didn't that'd be really stupid). I also want to make this clear from the get go before I'm bombarded with comments that I don't hate BBRAE shippers I may not like the pairing but I respect other people's viewpoints. Now, that we got that out of the way I'm going to go ahead and list all the reasons why this ship NEEDS to happen.

She vows to find the boy she dreamed of and save him from darkness that she knows all too well. Damian promised something too, to murder everyone that was employed to massacre his family and his home. Time skip ten years in the future and Raven is a member of the teen titans, ward of Clark Kent/ superman while Damian is the world's most effective and dangerous assassin. When the two meet will Raven remember her promise to bring back the boy who lost too much? Will Damian let her in? Or is Damian too far gone?
