Jordan never noticed Juliet. Juliet had given up to get his attention. And if they end up hiding together in the same closet, he can't stop talking about himself. So how to shut him up? Kissing him... *** Jordan Decker is an arrogant senior in King Valley, a footballer and an A-grade student. All teachers liked him, girls adored him and guys wanted to be friends with. A total cliche. And like always, in every girly romantic book, he has the gorgeous girlfriend, luxury car and EGO as big as New York City. Juliet Maine has a lot on her plate, working as a waitress in Lory's Diner she is asked to open a new business in her hometown. After graduation she will fly to New York to study law at NYU, leaving her family behind and start her independent life. When she is pulled into her highschool's crush's love-life problems, she finally understands why falling in love with him was a bad idea. But she doesn't know that Jordan had noticed her from day one. *** PREVIEW into chapter 8 I climb up the stairs and find myself in a long corridor what spread to two directions. Matt's bedroom was on the east wing so I turn to my left and walk toward the last door in the end. But before I can reach half way, a door on my right opens and out runs Jordan. We bump into each other. "What the..???" I steady myself, grabbing his jacket and prevent myself from falling backward. "Run!" He says. "What?" I release him. "Run," he grabs my hand and starts pulling me with him. "Why would I...?" I turn around while I'm dragged toward the stairs and see Tiffany, all angry and face cherry red come throw the door Jordan had exited a minute ago. "You dirty bitch!" She yells at the top of her lungs as she sees me, Jordan's hand still gripes me. Amazing cover by @uniqueread.

1. Jessica's first video call with her boyfriend didn't show him on screen. Instead, it was his roommate-Matthew. The man's eyes were dark, his eyelids thin, a faint double fold. His features were flawless, so perfect that even a close-up revealed not a single blemish. Jessica quickly covered herself, wearing barely a scrap of clothing, and forced a calm tone. "Did you pick up the wrong phone?" "No." Matthew's voice was cool, detached. "This is my WhatsApp." Jessica cut the call, only to realize his profile picture and even his display name were identical to her boyfriend's. She had assumed their paths would never cross again. Until that night. By sheer accident, she found herself pressed against him, his hands gripping her waist, her body trembling under him. His heavy breaths filled her ears. And when he bent down and claimed her earlobe with his lips, she realized just how searing his kisses could be. 2. At J University, Matthew was untouchable-a crown jewel of the campus, aloof and proud, adored by countless girls. No one would ever connect him to Jessica, his roommate's girlfriend. Until one day, someone saw them hand in hand by the lake. Rumors flew: "No picture, no truth. Impossible!" Soon after, someone posted a photo: behind the half-open car window, Jessica was draped in a black coat, her slender waist gripped firmly by a large hand, Matthew's lips attacking hers with fierce, focused intensity-biting, claiming, consuming. 3. On the first day of college, Matthew watched as his roommate arrived, hand-in-hand with a woman, a beaming smile on his face. "Matthew, this is my girlfriend. Isn't she beautiful?" Matthew's gaze landed on the shy Jessica. Slowly, deliberately, he said, "Beautiful." No one could tell the storm raging beneath his calm exterior. Every second, his jealousy clawed higher. Every second, he was losing himself to it.

Lauren Jules, her twin sister Miranda, and their best friend Jake all grew up together in their own little world. Just three kids having the time of their lives. And then came the summer that changed everything. It was the summer Lauren fell in love with her best friend. It was the summer her family broke apart and she grew up. It was the summer Jake left. Now five years later, Jake is moving back and Lauren is determined to keep her guard up against the boy who stole her heart years ago. But Lauren's not the only one with something to hide, Jake seems to be fighting some demons of his own. His past has changed him from the happy-go-lucky kid he was, to a reckless guy with a smirk for a smile. And he's driving Lauren insane. ****** Excerpt from That Summer "Well I'm surprised," he drawled huskily, playing with a strand of my hair. "You acted like a natural last night." Oh. My. God. What did that even mean? He chuckled at my deer-in-headlights expression. There was no way I would not remember losing my virginity to Jake. Hell, I'd memorize every second of it. "What do you mean?" I asked slowly, my stomach doing somersaults. Please tell me I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion. Pretty please. "Well," he started, a gleam in his eyes. "First, you grabbed the blanket and ripped it right off of me." I blinked at him, a horrified expression on my face. I slapped his hand away from my hair and turned around. Yup, there it was. Lying on the floor, along with my dignity. He continued solemnly. "And then, you climbed up on top of me." Could you die from your face overheating? I waited for my embarrassment to be complete as he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. "Yeah, that's about it." That's it? THAT'S IT? So I hadn't completely thrown myself at him. Just a tad. And the prize for the unluckiest luckiest horndog of the year goes to Lauren Can't Keep Her Hands To Herself Jules. I grabbed the pillow and smacked him over the head with it. Hard.
