We never heeded the warnings of those that came before us, but now the war is over and broken and bruised we're pick up the pieces. Rekindling and rebuilding our humanity we nearly lost. _ In an alternate world, countless world wars continued after the first and second. Technology advanced at the detriment of humanity. The last war had only just begun to fade as optimism for the future begins to grow, life returns its prewar likeness. But it isn't easy to forget the horrors for individuals that were hit the hardest. For Haruna, the nightmare and pain continues, as a forgotten former war veteran and human experiment during the war. Jaded and terminally ill, she looks towards the end, tending to her quiet life running her inherited family bookstore until an unexpected individual of her dreams and prison camp memories enters her life. Reigniting the spark of life and joy. However life takes a sudden turn, not knowing the other person you're living with comes at a fatal cost.
