Lizabella: A Musical Fairy Tale 🎤

[ON HOLD] Once upon a time, a king and queen eagerly awaited the arrival of their firstborn child, and a trusted maidservant waited, just as eagerly, to kill it.

Princess Lizabella: Born to lead. Born to rule. Born . . . to die.

A betrayed maid: "You lied to me?"

A wicked woman: "But of course. That is what I do best."

A powerful king: "You are surely mistaken! Every wise man in the kingdom has assured me it is a boy."

A knowing Sage: "And they are wise men indeed for telling the king that which he wishes to hear."

A handsome prince in disguise: "I have no intention of abiding by your contemptible request. If a man such as myself asks you a question it behooves you to answer. A woman like yourself should know her place."

And one beautiful thread that ties them all together - Lizabella: "I know my place very well, sir. It is you who does not know his place. Talking to a woman against her will. Demanding that I speak. I am not some milk-maid to be pushed about. Not only are you discourteous, disrespectful and highly conceited, but you, sir, are an impostor."

But in a world of lies and secrets, nothing is what it seems, least of all the princess.
