Samantha Taylor is a girl fresh out of high school. No more waking up early to catch the bus (almost) everyday. No more unnecessary senior classes with horrible teachers. But most importantly, no more trouble balancing out time for school and time to save her city. In a world where super people are globally known, Samantha must keep her identity hidden from the fact that she is a psychic weapon creator underneath her power suit. But even with all the pressures of college and other 'starter' adult things aside, a new one fits in. When a super villain enters her city to stir up trouble, Samantha must stop him as fast and effective as she can. However, it's a little difficult to keep him down when he thinks that they're best friends. Friendships, love, trust, and morals are put to the ultimate test when things don't go as planned. Warnings and Things to Know Before Reading - *This story is rated mature.* *This is not my original idea. I found this idea on a Tumblr post where a collection of people branched off of someone's thought of an AU like this one. I also found stories that have the exact same concept. HOWEVER, the characters I make and the scenes/plot I revolve this idea around are based off of my head and imagination (with the help of inspirations of course :D)* *Cover photo found on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/114841859222798504/*

"Who are you?" the supervillain asks. His breathless voice is surprisingly soft. I slam my hands on either side of him, leaning in so close my nose touches his mask. I'm the taller one. "It's 'Please Don't Kick My Sorry Butt,' but you can call me 'Too late, I Already Did.' " And I have to admit, that one I'm a little too proud of. ***Hey, hey! Now a Wattpad featured story!*** The superheroes are gone. For as long as Monet can remember, a league of superheroes has guarded her city. They were the citizens' idols, guardians, and best friends. Then, only months ago, those same heroes poofed, leaving the population at the mercy of a supervillain known as 'Masquerade.' As teen reporter and self-proclaimed defender of truth, justice, and the American way, Monet Jackson vows to do anything to find the heroes. And that "anything," unfortunately, includes taking a dip in a vat of toxic chemicals, being fired, and being hunted by Masquerade himself. But someone's gotta protect the city, and she might as well write a blog about it. *** WHAT'S INSIDE: 1 Kick-butt heroine +1 Love Triangle... or ...Love Quadrilateral... or...
