Hope has returned to the students for a normal year unthreatened by anything. Although the Dark Lord was gone, the year will not be normal for these seventh and eighth years, for a law was been put in action. A marriage law. A marriage law, but it's a little different. For all of the 8th years returning the Ministry gives the males each a ring that represents them and family. The guys have the one school year to find a girl worthy of the ring and to place it on her hand, only then are they considered engaged. The only catch? The ring can't be removed, so be very careful who you choose.

Hermione wants to get paired with Ron but after he cheats over and over again, she can't bear it anymore. She gets paired with Draco Malfoy and suddenly everything escalates.
