We all come from the same sheet of paper, or the same notebook, so in the beginning we're all the same, filled with endless possibility. The first step is to tie a knot. That knot is the first time you're recognized as who you are, the first life-shaping moment. Then you are wrapped around. You continue to shape your life by all the events that shape you. These life changing moments shape who you are, or what you can be. Whether you are tightly wound and have everything figured out, or your loose and falling apart. You can still be made into a star. Each star is filled with all the emotions of your life, and they are carefully tended to until their time is over. At the end of it all, the star may be squished, or it could be torn or folded wrong, but nonetheless, it's still a star. And it still helps to fill up the jar.
This story is kind of co-written by Magichild14, my sister. She's got some really good works of her own, check them out!

He struggles to maintain relationships with his family, and despite a coworkers interest he can't summon up the courage to date. Elliot is living for the past, because to live for the present means he'll have to live with a hole in his heart.
