After Sophie falls pregnant, she and the Joker, and countless other villains, are captured. A new law is put into place that gives all of them the option to be rehabilitated into society or to rot in Arkham Asylum for the rest of their lives. There are a few conditions under this law, and one of them is that they are forbidden to reproduce. For the sake of their unborn child, they choose rehabilitation and go into hiding. A similar law is passed for the superheroes in town, but with many more rights under terms of rehabilitation.
The life of Macy Promise is... well, boring, to say the least. She's always been different, she's never been able to get along with people. With her father never around and her mother always on edge, she's been pretty alone most of her life. Hell, her best friend is her math teacher. Pretty sad, right? If only she knew that her parents were the most notorious villains for miles around, if only she knew that they were the reason for her underlying mental instability, if only she knew that being raised to be bad doesn't mean she can't do the right thing every once in a while...

Taking the gun away, she placed it against her temple, smirked, and eventually laughed. "Please...don't hurt me." He begged. She didn't answer. All she did was stare at him like the piece of meat he was. He began to cry, and yell for help. "Yelp! Someone help us! Help me!" She yelled with him only to break out laughing. "No one's coming," She informed. "Get off me freak! This is a big mistake! You're gonna pay for this!" He yelled. The Gotham Queen
This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. Please be nice to each other, and no rude comments. I may have a few spelling errors, so if you let me know, I will try to get to them.
