"The world is full of people like us," I whispered to her as I glanced towards the sky. Stars were dotted around and each and every star seemed to shine brighter the longer I stared at it. 

"People like us?" She asked in a small voice. I could hear the curiosity lacing the question. 

I glanced towards her. Her blue eyes were filled with wonder. Her brown hair was in a bun which made her look like a ballerina. Her eyebrows were furrowed and her nose scrunched. She looked beautiful. 

"People who are broken. Broken beyond repair."

Derek is a bad boy, or as bad as he can get. He can be a total sweetheart sometimes or a total asshole. 


Ashtyn doesn't take anybody's shit. She may seem like a good girl, but if you rile her up, you'll have to sleep with one open eye.

What happens when these two meet each other? Obviously, sparks do not fly because that would be unrealistic.
