Jacquelyn Paxton was living a picturesque life embellished with Gucci sunglasses, tanned, muscular fraternity guys, roaring bonfires, there-for-you friends, and wannabe Britneys. Everything was handed to her on a silver platter, until mysteriously her boyfriend, Eli Warner dumps her and disappears from the city without an explanation. Each of her friends- Charlotte Cummings, Sydney Davy, Liam Mayers, Samantha Young, and Seth Harrowing- suddenly shy away from her and abandon Jacquelyn. When her whole life is replaced with some gimmick, she takes action. What does she want?

Revenge.

Hidden by the pseudonym, Bethany, she spills every secret her friends posses, virtually attempting to ruin their lives as they ruined hers. But when she learns that her friends were blackmailed into abandoning her, by an unknown girl, Kara, the secrets are already out. Jacquelyn just wrecked her life even more, and she's clinging onto the thought that could regain her envious life, and taken down Kara.

It's a world of blackmail, lies, and longing.
