How would you determine your fate if your dad up and moved you to the middle of the country? Where all of the obnoxious cowboys live. Well Lythia experienced this. One day her father and evil stepmother came home saying it was time to move. Time for a new start as her father would put it. A junior in high school, a new school, and a doll house looking home. How will she survive? Who knows maybe this city girl can become part country and survive with the cowboys. After all maybe they're more gentleman like than she realizes. And who's to say maybe a certain cowboy named Nathan can help change her attitude to the country life style.

This isn't the story of how the city girl fell for the cowboy, oh no, this story was how the city boy fell for the home grown country girl. Harper was a single mother with a six year old son as her pride and joy. She owned her fathers old ranch as his last wish and lived an almost normal life. She had proven that she didn't need a man in her life after what had happened with her ex husband, but no matter what she did she couldn't seem to get away from his mistakes.
