Alice Von Rupert is the older twin of the wealthy first class Von Rupert family. Her younger twin sister, Evelyn, is engaged to a rotten wealthy 30 year old, William Brower. They're 16 as of the year they step foot on the Titanic. Their mother is a widow, much like Rose's mother. Elizabeth and Ruth are sisters. But the only difference is that Elizabeth, unlike Ruth, shows her love for her daughters through every single moment with them. She doesn't want to marry them off to wealthy families. But she was afraid that they'd run into financial problems if one didn't marry into a very wealthy family. So Elizabeth gave Evelyn's hand to William.
