When Skylar Adams, a good girl with a bad past, meets the mysteriously charming Harry Styles, her whole world changes. She finds herself mystified by his hidden and secretive character, but that being said, there are bad secrets to go along with the good ones. And sometimes, the dark side overpowers all light. So when Harry's dark side is constantly haunting him, he tends to ruin everything in his presence, even if that thing, or in this case, person, could potentially be his only ticket to a normal life. When he begins to tear Skylar's life apart, he may really be the only thing that could patch it back together again. They're polar opposites, but there's always hope that they could be exactly what the other needs to maintain a happy life. But to get to happiness, the journey must also consist of sorrow, regrets, pain, agony, hurt, and despair. The story of Skylar and Harry is like a rose; beautiful and breath-taking, but each rose is adorned with the deepest, deadliest thorns.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
