Angelo Carter finds himself in that predicament when he discovers he has feelings for his best friend. He soon finds himself retelling the two year long story of heartbreak, drama, secrets and lies to find out where he went wrong and what signs he ignored along the way.
Throughout the two year long narrative, Angelo struggles with understanding his feelings for Farian along with keeping his sexuality a secret from his father and mother all while feeling self regret for the way he has turned from his girlfriend Amica.
At the same time, Farian and Angelo's best friend Demetrius struggles with his own issues ranging from a crush on this girl named Cassie, to betrayal of someone close to him, to a child.
An allegorical story told from the POV of Angelo (semi half brother of the author)
