Mettaton is always viewed as the singing, popular robot of the UnderGround. But what ever happened to him when he arrived. (Set in Overworld and Underworld, my interpretation of what happened after the pacifist route ending.)
Mettaton overhears a conversation between his so called friends, sending him spiraling down into a depression no one could cure. Can they save him? And if they can... Will they even try?

Bloodfall (An Undertale AU)
Ever since the death of his younger brother. Things have gone downhill in the surface world for Sans. Alphys died a few months after Papyrus to a disease, Mettaton and Undyne, especially Undyne, had fallen into a depression. Flowey dissapeared into mt. Ebott, not to be found and Sans is fighting depression and insanity. One day, Sans discovers a suspect to his brother's death. A being that is trapping anyone who had either fallen into Mt. Ebott or stayed behind in snowdin for a while. Sans, along with Frisk and Undyne, go into the underground themselves to confront this being. They must encounter the Bloodfall that traps and kills anyone who dares pass by waterfall. (This takes place after a true pacifist run if one killed Sans in a Genocide run, but reset their game before getting to Asgore(I did this in a way to quit the Genocide route). This is if Frisk choses to do this the Pacifist way. I might make a Genocide one in Story Shorts. Also, My Sans is a human, but feel free to interprate him as a Skeleton if you ever choose to use this AU. In Underlust, where almost every monster is hypersexual due to being injected with lust in order to increase the monster population, Mettaton is an outsider. As a ghost, he was not injected with the lust substance, and as a result, he is completely different from everyone else in the Underground. He feels out of place as an anxious bookworm who has little interest in sex and is losing hope because his quiz show is unsuccessful. But Mettaton might not be as alone as he thinks. A certain skeleton loves Mettaton's show and wonders if anyone in the Underground shares his rare capacity to prioritize love over sex. UNDERLUST DISCLAIMER: I think it's important to acknowledge that there are some problematic things about Underlust and that I absolutely do not condone those aspects of the AU. When he sees the subject of his promise exit the RUINs- A strange, wayward, dust-covered human- Sans questioned whether he'd be able to stay true to his word.
