Violet Sims works as an intern for Frasier Corp. Mainly getting coffee, filing paper work, running errands and making copies. She only puts up with it all in hopes that someday she'll be able to move up and earn a position in the Company. On the day the company announces that there will be some new positions opening up that even some interns will be allowed to apply for she is over the moon. 

Thinking she could work around it she does her usual task of getting the coffee for the office and upon her exit of the shop she runs into Brody Matthews a handsome cop with an equally handsome dog named Leon. It's just her luck as the coffee spills on her and Leon begins to help her get it off. Things just don't seem to go right for her after that. It figures it would happen the week she has to accomplish the tasks that will earn her that spot. 

So after a few trips to the ER, running around town with a perfect stranger in coffee stained clothes and the impending meeting where she finds out if her fate is changing. What has been Violet getting into this week?

I turn around when I hear him struggling with the door. "The door won't open." He says pointing to the handle. "Yeah it's been weird the past week or two. You just have to yank on it." I say as I walk up to it to open it. But a loud static sound comes over the speakers. "Hello students of Clover University. It seems we've had a glitch in the locking system. We're not sure how long it will take to repair. So unfortunately you're stuck in the dorms until further notice. We're sorry for the inconvenience." The speakers make a beeping sound then go quiet. I sigh before throwing my bag on my bed and plopping down. I pull out my phone and call my parents, telling them what is happening and that I won't see them until they fix the issue in the system. "Well then. Guess I'm stuck with thee Echo Short!" The boys smiles joyfully before marching over to Izzy's bed and sitting down. "So you know my name but I don't know yours." I say looking at him. He chuckles. "Kai Wells! It's a pleasure to meet you!" He says happily. "Nice to meet you Kai Wells! I look forward to getting to know you buddy." I say with a faint smile before falling back into my bed and plugging in my earbuds. This is gonna be a weird...
