Dylan Graye is a very good person - she goes to church every Sunday singing in the choir, she volunteers at her local animal shelter, she's a rolemodel at school, and she practically raises her little brother James without any problems. Soon she will be graduating high school with straight A's. Dylan even has the most adoring, cute, caring, and loving boyfriend; Jacob Verteo. Her life at school is amazing. Everything was going great for her, except, her life at home. Her life at home was the complete opposite, it was hell! Living with an abusive mother, a tiny apartment, sharing a small room with a ten year-old brother and a twenty-four year-old sister was rough. The only people who cared for her was Jacob and her sister Alyssa. Soon, Alyssa will be moving out with her fiance and Jacob will also have to move out of the state. Jacob asks Dylan to come with him, but her family holds her back with two heartbreaking secrets - leaving her to walk aginst the wind.
