Augustus Waters stared blankly at the white, empty page of his notebook, wondering how to begin writing about such a unique and extraordinary girl. Hazel Grace Lancaster wasn't the typical girl that guys fall in love with like in movies, in fact she was far from it. She was slightly awkward, extremely sarcastic and wasn't fussed about her appearance. She was as pale as the snow that fell in early January, and would become exhausted after climbing one flight of stairs. She dressed in jeans and band t-shirts, and a pair of faded, worn out converses adorned her feet whenever he saw her. She wasn't what society deemed to be perfect, he loved her anyway. That was why he found writing her eulogy so difficult.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
