When thirteen year old Izabelle DeNaro finds an injured boy collapsed outside her bedroom one wintry, frozen night, she is immediately changed. Her friends, family and life are not what they seemed-- the first , most shocking revelation being the her close friend Diine waws part of the group PCE.

Iz is quickly introduced to a new lifestyle. She devotes herself to caring for the boy, Al, with the help of Diine's family, who are also of PCE. Pursued by the trained agents of the organization SPYDER, forced to flee from her family's home, and attacked during the night, she can only wonder how much she and her friends can take...
