I barely had time to get into the cab when my phone buzzed again. I almost didn't pick up- I was so exhausted and yet I have to run one more errand for my boss.

But when the caller ID flashed Sebastian Miller, my brand-new boss of literally two days, I forced myself to answer.

"Ms. Scott," his voice came sharp, low, and urgent. "What is taking you so long?."

"I am on my way, Sir?" I almost rolled my eyes he wants me to help but is literally irritating me.

"I hope you got a cab that will be faster. Time is of the essence." he hung up immediately.

He wants me to pretend to be his girlfriend.

My heart sank. I cannot even travel normally he is demanding that I be fast as if I own a jet -he sounded serious, and yet I still know too that I cannot refuse.

Fifteen minutes passed, I was standing looking up at the tall luxurious building. I got in. The security guys looked at me carefully before letting me use the side elevator and within two minutes I saw the elevator open to a very beautiful house oh my God how do these people even live like this ....all I see is money all over, the penthouse is very spacious, and to my left stood Sebastian looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

All of a sudden he moved forward-and Sebastian grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me further into the large house.

"Thank God you're here," he muttered. He said and looked a bit worried. That's a feeling I never thought existed on his face.
