Takahashi Umi was just a pretty face.

At least, that's what she made them believe before she slit their throats open.

Three shinobi used deception to start a revolution.

And told lies so the world could see the truth behind it all.

Bitter from years of social and economic discrimination from Konoha, the Uchiha planned a coup d'etat to put an end to the reign of the Senju and seize a place in the office. Without a pacifist to intervene, the coup led to civil war, which all ended in the supposed "extinction" of the Uchiha clan.

Unbeknowest to Konoha, there was not only one Uchiha who escaped the village unscathed, but two. One had plans to destroy, so he formed a group of rogue shinobi and planned for world domination.

The other had nothing left to lose. Residing in Amegakure, he encountered a fiesty Uzumaki and the daughter of a nameless prostitute. And the three embarked on a lifelong mission to uncover the dark secrets of the Shinobi world, what it meant to do anything for the sake of the village, and why shinobi were never really meant to be called "heroes".

But with each step they took, The Great Five were at their back, ready to go for the kill.
