Mitrhe lives in a fantasy world, while humans on earth see it as a game comprised of one's and zeros, to him it is unshakable reality. As an advanced A.I. designed to emulate humans, a person meeting him in the game would never know he wasn't just another player.
He sees no status screens, he knows no exploits or hacks, for him, there is no heads up display, and no respawn mechanics.
This is how he helped take over the world.

The game world used in this series is taken (with written consent) directly from "Parallel" by Renoe_K (you can find his work on Wattpad, it is fantastic, and worth a read). 

I am doing my best to ensure that this book is standalone, but some events referenced, or briefly mentioned will more than likely contain spoilers for the original series, it is highly suggested you read Parallel: a Sci-fi Game's Story (book 1 of the original series) before this one.

Parallel Universe: A world conceived of as coexisting with and having certain similiarities to the known world but different from it in some fundamental way. Example: I am writing this book but the title is different in the other universe. They were in a parallel universe. Of course they did not realize this, as most people don't. The Noora and William we know in this universe is our reality, but a few things are different. Such as Eva never exsisting and being replaced by new people you've never met, or by Noora's terrible past catching up to her. Events and people are different and you will notice these things. When you do notice these things, do not be alarmed because this is not your universe, it is only a mirror image of what your universe could be. I do not own any of these characters and some dialogue is taken from the original story. The ideas that are changed are one hundred percent mine. If you have any intention of translating it to another language, please let me know. And if you have any intention of stealing this book, please do not because the consequences will be disastrous. In their continual expansion, they seeded galaxies with pods and connection satellites. Over time they upgraded their dyson spheres into matryoshka brain Cores. Imagine a computer powered by a star. Citizens of Cores no longer age once they upload their minds into the virtual living system of the Core. While they didn't age, most still choose to cycle through life and death though at a different scale of time compared to our lives. Citizens can visit other planets and live there as if they were on a "vacation". Mercury is Earth's hub connected to the closest Core and Earth is a remote vacation spot for wealthy citizens. When the main character was 10 he witnessed a citizen returning to the Core. The story continues 10 odd years later when he again witnesses a similar situation unfolding and manages to touch the person returning to the Core. This causes him to be swept up in the transfer as well and for his mind to join as a "Guest" user of the Core. As a Guest he has limited powers, a starting balance of zero cr or Citizen credits, and no idea how he can get home. He is the first human to ever become a Guest of a Core. Where money itself is the highest form of their science.

Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.
