The year is 3032. North America has released all boundaries as a result of the Great War, and is ruled by one government; The Great 4. This governmental system is controlled by 4 main facets- The Overseer, The Committee, the Knights, and the Efficiency Foundations. 
These four branches are supposed to ensure fairness for the Continent, but hide one large secret. 
Eleanor is a 17 year old girl who's greatest wish is to be able to stay in her nice, comfy region like her sister Imogene. She stands out at her boarding school for many reasons, the most notable of which being her extremely outdated name. The most hidden reason being her father, a prized biological engineer who did a great service for the Efficiency Committee, but was killed for knowing too much. 
James is a resident of Region 44, and has his hands full caring for his three younger brothers. When he is framed for the petty theft of a bio-scanner, the only defense he came afford is a low level, local lawyer, and his intern Eleanor. Due to his fathers past offenses, the Knight is compelled to  convict James, making his case all the harder to win. To lose would mean sending James to the Mid South, home of the Efficiency Committee, where he would never be seen again.
