When I was still in high school I was bored in class a lot and started rewriting Greek Myths, only to realize they were pretty useless, so I figured I would at least post them here so I can find them years down the line and cringe. So, if you enjoy fun activities like death, betrayal, affairs and a shit ton of incest, you are in the right place! Also, you may want to talk to someone about that. I find it pretty unnecessary to claim I didn't fully come up with these, but, you know, just in case someone thinks the H in my username stands for Homer, I did not come up with these, they're just really bad retellings. Also, keep in mind mythology is, to be exact, old as shit, and you may be familiar with different versions of these myths; that's cool! I've read several books that always differ on all sorts of things, from small details to full-on plot points, and I'm not trying to be super specific here, so don't put your Historian Hats on, these aren't goddamn orphic texts or anything, it's just a stupid thing I did instead of paying attention in math class, please read it as such. :) xiphoid-gal

Reader x pandavas "What if the fire of the Yagya didn't just produce a son and one daughter? What if Draupadi had a younger sister-a girl born from the ashes of a broken past, who would eventually share not just her home, but her five husbands too?" The Story In the dark streets of the Kaliyug, an orphan girl dies alone, betrayed by the only man she ever loved. Her last wish to the gods was simple: "I just want a family. I just want to be loved." Fate listens, but in a way she never expected. She wakes up in the golden palace of Panchala, reborn as the younger sister to the legendary Princess Draupadi. In this world of warriors, gods, and ancient laws, she is no longer a shadow. She is a princess. Author's Note / Disclaimer "This story is a work of fiction and a creative reimagining of the Mahabharata. In this version, King Drupada is not a cold or distant father. He deeply loves and cherishes both of his daughters, Draupadi and reader. there is no hatred or disappointment in his heart-only a father's pure love for his children."
