"Here's the abbreviated version: Aster's moody about family stuff and thinks we can't see when she smiles at Maggie-"

"What? No I don't!"

"-Maggie looks sweet and innocent and all that bullshit but she's actually trying to overthrow the current religious leaders for, what was it again Mags?"

"Losing sight of our values."

"Right, and this here is Rayan, he's the little shit who was in line for the throne of Opulance even though I'm meant to be the heir."

"Not my fault that you're a disgraced son of a bitch."

"I was getting there! As my brother so kindly put it, I'm the disgraced son of Opulance. I'm also the better looking son."

"Right. That didn't answer my question. Who are you?"

"The bearers, duh."

"Charmed, I'm sure."

She was a girl from inside the wardrobe. He was a boy from outside the wardrobe. ~~~~ "You're joking?" I scoff. "These are the Prophecy?" I pointed at the three children standing beside them. It was like an inside joke that wasn't even laughable. "Yes, sweetheart! You cannot deny the coincidence that is happening all around us." Mrs. Beaver explained. Her motherly tone brought me some reassurance. I nodded reluctantly, glancing at the three children standing awkwardly. "So much for a Prophecy." ~~~~ "Is Aslan really your father?" Lucy asked me. I smirked in amusement as she sat down beside me at the river. "Is that what everyone keeps telling you?" Lucy nodded innocently. It was adorable how her cheeks redden in embarrassment. "No," I answered, "he isn't my father by blood but I like to think of him as one." I turn to the flowing river, watching as the tiny fishes jump every now and then out of the water. "He raised me, saved me from dying. I never knew my parents. Don't know if they're looking for me or continuing on with their lives like nothing is missing." I shrugged hoping to fool anyone who thought otherwise. If I put my guard up maybe no one will notice. ~~~~ "A King is never a King without his Queen by his side." A voice said from behind me. I smiled at his attempt of trying to woe me. "Oh?" I didn't need to take a look to know that he was already next to me. His warmth radiated to me like a magnet. "So, why is everyone calling me 'King' when my Queen is out here?" Peter said. I whipped my head over at him, baffled at his confidence. He smirked making me swoon for him even more. Especially, the way the setting sun shinned against his dirty blande hair and his blue eyes glowed even brighter. ~~~~ The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe {P. Pevensie} {The Shadow Series} {Part of Across The Multiverse Series} {Book 1} All of the credit of the books belongs to C.W. Lewis and the movies belong to Disney. The King Of All Vampire Kings (Book 1) ✔️ by S0NDREENJ
107 parts Complete Mature
Book 1 of (The Awakening Series) {#1 Supernatural} {#1 Paranormal} {#1 Lycans} {#1 Vampire Romance} {#5 Royalty} The world went to shit long before I was born. Humans like me use to believe other species were nothing more than fictional characters, myths, or figures of one's imagination. But that was before vampires left the shadows and decided to reveal their species to the world. I've been told that teenage girls use to fantasize about being swooshed off their feet by those mysterious creatures. Insane. Matter of fact, insane would be an understatement, they were fucking lunatics. Vampires are not some fictional character that would love you like no other. No, vampires are not some sort of myth, and they most certainly are not, a figment of anyone's imagination. They are very real, and they despise the human race. In fact, they have enslaved my entire species and formed a new world. Each continent is owned by a ruthless, bloodsucking, barbaric, the vampire king. Every single one of them has played a part in the war of the awakening, showing no mercy, killing without question. Humans didn't even stand a chance. Our army and world leaders were killed or imprisoned in less than a couple of days. They slaughtered my race, but it didn't stop there. No, that was only the beginning of human suffering. Trust me when I say the death was truly a kindness, because anyone who survived the awakening, would beg for death. I was positive that my suffering would come to an end when I turned eighteen. I was hoping and praying to be marked as a feeder, nothing more, nothing less. Death was the only way out of this world. You see, all of the kings who ruled over the earth were cruel and calculating. They are all tyrants in their own right and they all answered to one vampire. Who was known as the most barbaric of them all and I was marked as his chosen. The King of all Vampire Kings. ["You look like hell," she stated at last. Azlan scoffed, "Likewise." She continued to study him through suspicious eyes and he couldn't help but wonder what she looked like beneath all the dried blood. He could tell she was unique though, definitely intriguing. ### "You think you know everything?" She turned to him in challenge, but Azlan only stared the female down, unbothered. "You don't know anything." "Don't I? It doesn't take a person with eyes to recognize all that built up anger and pain sizzling inside you." "Stay the fuck out of my business."] While grieving the loss of her boyfriend, huntress Nera Atherton made it to her mission to kill every beast she can hunt down to avenge her love. Two years pass when she crosses paths with a mysterious and arrogant man, Azlan, who claims to be searching for his sister's killer. When her uncle vanishes without a trace, Nera and Azlan put aside their differences to track down the threat endangering their home, Asteria.
