Water itself may not seem the most intimidating, but have you ever stared into the oceans endless, bottomless black void in the dark of night? As your love slowly floated beneath you, out of reach? Deeper and deeper into nothingness, until you completely lost all sight of her? Neither have I until June 30th, the day that stole everything from us. I remember the frightening sensations all too well... Alarm bells screaming in my ears, icy waters stinging every part of me, and panic stabbing my insides with every heartbeat. Still- nothing was worse than the sight of her beautiful distressed face, as she struggled to breathe and helplessly kicked her feet every which way. Slowly, she reached her frail, bony hands out towards me... ...Then inevitably sunk into the depths of the dark waters.All Rights Reserved
