Alice Bell, an emancipated 16-year-old, lives on her own in a small apartment four blocks from her high school. All her life she has been called crazy for seeing things, people, that others cannot.  Along with her supposed craziness, Ali keeps a 4.0 GPA and plays many sports, while keeping a part-time job to support herself.  Way too busy to maintain a social life right? Wrong. Her best friend Kat drags her out to parties on the weekends, when she isn't working. Plus now some gang has taken notice of her hectic life for God knows why, and she can't find the time to take a break. But when they start telling her that they can see the exact things that she thought that no one else could see her life gets even more hectic and she doesn't know how much more she can take.
