Mona Stevens' world has been plucked from its natural orbit, dribbled down the court of the cosmos, and dunked into a metaphorical black hole-the very dumpster of the galaxy. Her mom has been murdered, her dad charged with the crime and thrown into a psych ward, and now she has to finish out high school while living with her estranged aunt's 'unique' family. But then again, Mona herself is a bit strange... Between math tests and SATs, Mona is determined to discover the true perpetrator behind her mother's murder. But information soon comes to light that will shake Mona to her very core, and make her question whether it would have been better to stay in the dark.
