No one was ready for an apocalypse. Mothers lost their children, children lost their brothers and sisters. There was no man or woman on earth who hadn’t lost someone they cared for… except for who didn’t have anyone from the beginning. Daryl Dixon, being the rational man he was, acted without losing the control of the situation. He had a plan and he knew how to take care of himself, he knew how to survive on his own because that was what he did for his entire life: survive, not live. Daryl was a fighter and he didn't allow anyone to get under his skin. His face wass illegible, his eyes had seen things but his mouth was shut sewn.

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.Concluida

Daryl Dixon x Reader Run. That's the first basic instinct a person can have in life. To run. Whether you are running late, exercising, playing a sport, games as a child, or simply because you enjoy it. Running is important to life... especially when one's life is in danger.
