When Nathan an Aaron come out gay they are hit by a wall of hate; from their peers, their teachers and their own family. With nobody to confide in but each other life get's tough, and with the increasing levels of hate against them putting them in danger Aaron suggests that the two run off to begin a life somewhere being gay is accepted. But Nathan refuses. He wants to stay and fight. One by one they appeal to their old friends and try to show them that they're still the same people they were before. But in a world where you are constantly beat down, how many times can you pick yourself back up before you give in?
