To risk everything always comes with consequences. Everyone knew that, right? Still, no one could've prepared the riders for their biggest challenge yet. Living in a cruel archipelago always came with danger, but no one really expected Viggo's game of Maces and Talons to take a sudden dark turn. In the end, love might just be the very thing that gets them killed.
Its not the gods who decide who's life they want to take next. It is simply up to the people selfish enough to take life away.
