[SEQUEL TO SPELLBOUND]

---

Remy Morgan is not quite sure what to do with herself when she returns to the Mortal World without Maksim Opal, a warlock whom she cannot help but have feelings for. She must reacquaint herself with the monotony of everyday life, a family who no longer understands her, and a friend who she has betrayed. However, the world of light and dark magic has not quite finished with her yet, and she finds herself being pulled back into Maksim's world through no fault of her own.

Meanwhile, in Astracia, Maksim must deal with the aftermath of the Dark War, which only occurred in the first place because of his older siblings. He must confront his own darkness, too, and perhaps the darkness of his mother, whom he is sure he can no longer trust.

He is not the only one who is struggling. Tykon Trevils must deal with the death of his mother while also taking care of Annika, a naive witch who has made a few too many bad decisions and is now under house arrest. Things only complicate themselves further when he blames Maksim for his own grief, and his sister comes back to Astracia to mourn.

Then there is Ackmard, who rather thinks he has had a change of heart after realising that perhaps his sister is not the person he hoped her to be. Will he redeem himself, or delve further into the world of dark magic?

One thing is for sure; nothing will remain the same as it was.

[BOOK TWO] "Anniversaries to some are like counting the years spent doing something great, years spent together, or years spent alive." I started slowly, voice dropping to a drawl as I peeked cautiously out of my bedroom blinds, scanning the road to see if there was a cloaked figure watching my every movement. "I view anniversaries as counting down the days till death finds me." *** After the events of her wonderfully packed 21st birthday, Addison was ready to retire back into her home and never again see the light of day. It wasn't a totally bad idea. After all, her family's generations-old riches was enough to tide her over until the day her past finally catches on, and until that day finally arrives, she had no intention to step out of her front door. And to think the last time she did, she ended up in the game of cat and mouse with a cynical hooded spirit that wanted her dead and her soul in a glass bottle for his own little sadistic collection. Silence had followed the whole year after the disastrous party. For nearly 365 days, Addison had no trouble with unwanted evil celestial beings lurking around her house in an attempt to take her soul away with a world-stopping kiss. However, the silence was too often, and the world had become too quiet. Reason being? Apparently, Death's new move was to kidnap her best friend Minnie Hoover in an attempt to bait her down to hell itself. Life became much quieter without one-third of her little clique. And so Addison ventured away from the safety of her home, in search of her best friend. After all, silence creeps the heart just as death does, and the world was now deadly silent. ***** Highest Rank Fantasy: #9 Highest Rank Teen Fiction: #77

Pretty Little Horrors Series - Dreamwalker Saga Book 1 - Shadows in the Glass Aurelia has always been haunted by her dreams-vivid, twisted nightmares that blur the line between fantasy and reality. But when the shadows from her dreams start creeping into the waking world, she realizes she's not just dreaming. She's being hunted. Thrown into a world of dark seduction and dangerous prophecy, Aurelia finds herself torn between two powerful beings: Raphael, the dangerously possessive royal who treats her like both a prize and a queen, and Maelis, the seductive trickster who invades her dreams with promises of power and pleasure. But nothing in this world is as it seems. The Council has sinister plans for her-plans that involve more than just her dreams. As Aurelia's powers awaken, so does the primal hunger that burns between her and Raphael. His touch is fire and danger, yet every instinct in her body craves more. But the deeper she falls into his world, the more she realizes that love may not be enough to save her from the fate the Council has planned. Caught in a deadly game of shadows, lies, and seduction, Aurelia must uncover the truth of her past and her power before her body-and her heart-are claimed by forces darker than any nightmare she's ever faced. "Everyone loves a good fantasy, but my life was turned upside down by one." What would you do if you had the ability to control the air? How about if you were suddenly brought to a world where, despite your powers, you're at the bottom of the food chain? On a fateful night, Max Walker finds himself summoned to Asterisk and contracted to Liliana Lockwood as her familiar. Forced to leave behind his life on Earth, Max begins a precarious journey into the unknown world of magic. Training as a knight, learning to control mana, battling rogue necromancers and even being mistaken for Duke Walker's son... it's just one thing after the next. But as if that wasn't bad enough, Asterisk, a world which subverts reality as you know it, may just have something to do with Max's own heaven-defying origin... and a secret that could leave the universe hanging by a thread.
