Etienne Rain, a vampire, and it's his job to dispose of dangerous creatures that shouldn't exist. Creatures like Nova. Etienne was more than willing to do his job, but there was just something about Nova that stopped him. Unlike Nova, Etienne does have hope. Hope that Nova Darkyn can be saved.
