Charlie, age 16, lost his mother in a car accident and is sent to live with his grandfather who works for a company called Ancient Ties. They specialise in finding and retrieving ancient artifacts for museums and governments around the world. He goes with his grandfather on one of his assignments and discovers that not all is what it seems. Maybe his mother's death wasn't an accident, may be he can avenge her. Maybe vengeance will help him feel alive again.
