This book is a carry on from The Alpha's Mate. If you don't Remember what happened in the last book then here's a recap:After what felt like 5 hours I woke up to an extreme pain in my left side, I reached to my left side to find sliver in the wound " klaus" I tried to shout but failed, then a little red haired walked in "klaus will be in to see you soon" when i saw her face I knew it " Bonnie?" What is she doing her " poppy I'm sorry but I can't help you or he will kill me" then she walked out the room after putting some food and water at the end of my bed "Bonnie!!!!!!" she didn't look back.
After what felt like days klaus came in " poppy I told you I would if you you can't hid from me now I will pay you back for the bad things you did to me" " it wasn't me klaus!" All he did was shake his head " that's where your wrong" shouldn't he know about doublegangers. " it wasn't me it was my doubleganger " " DONT LIE TO ME POPPY!!" He shouted walking out " KLAUS IT WASNT ME" I was raging I ripped the rope from around my legs and ran for the him ripping his head off " told you but you didn't listen" I said walking out wiping my mouth.
I toke my 7 weeks but I was able to find my way back to my home town finding mason was easy but getting to him wasn't, people think he was part of this but he isn't I know he isn't. " LET ME SEE MY HUSBAND NOW!!!" The guards trembled opening the door I ran for mason to see him so scared " mason" I said then he ran for me hugging me " don't ever leave me like that" " I dealt with him he can't hurt us now.
But it wasn't, it only just began.
