Running into the clearing, I felt something sharp run across my arm. Looking down, I saw that I had ran across a barbed wire. A cloud covered the moon, blocking most of my vision. Slowly, yellow eyes blinked to life around me. Holding my hand over the deep cut, I backed into a tree. "I want to go home!" I whimpered to myself, feeling tears in my eyes. Blood began to run through my fingers, dripping to the dry grass below. As soon as a drop of dark red splattered against the light brown, something jumped on me, blinding me.

I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. "OKAY! I surrender!" I cried, falling back into the icy blanket with tears of laughter flowing from my eyes. ********* I gasped as I woke from my dream. I looked at the forest around me. Cold, dark and empty. I still had hope that they were just hiding and that this was all just a bad dream, but after a moment or two of listening to the trees creaking, I sighed. I was alone.
